Oh my, my, my!!
It is all happening so fast around. Have mountains of work to do and feel somewhat guilty about taking off for a week - well only somewhat guilty. But will work my butt off today and tomorrow and then be free and clear to enjoy the next week.
Had a little freak out the other day. Started to realise that it was all happening and all happening fast. People are arriving from overseas, things need doing, vows need writing, details need checking, printing needs ordering and trying to fit it all into a few more days so need to be ruthless with my own schedule.
But at the same time as my little freak out, I had a little epiphany…
people are arriving…
for us….
people are doing things, offering help, spending their time and hard earned money and going out of their way..
for us…
people are genuinely happy and thinking…
of us…
It is truly humbling.
So I took a moment to soak it all in and realise that it wasn’t just events and parties we were organising but OUR WEDDING!! And our friends and family are genuinely happy for us and that is such a special feeling. I know that sounds a tad odd but really when you are in the throws of party planning and detail checking and list making, the whole reason and purpose can get a little lost in the noise.
So, let me say here and now, out-loud and publicly:
THANK YOU!!
We are feeling the love of you all around us and it is one of the best feelings in the world.
Now, back to list writing and detail checking to make sure we show our appreciation by throwing you all a kick arse party!!

Hi Trashley, I know you are probably entertaining many overseas visitors and guests and knowing our Trash tearing round at a rate of knots attending to every detail.
